Box 707 <br />Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br /> RE: Declaring April "Keep Cabarrus Clean and <br /> Beautiful Month" <br /> <br />Dear Mike: <br /> <br />At its meeting on Monday, February 20, the Board of Directors of <br />Keep Cabarrus Clean and Beautiful, Inc. (KCCB), discussed the <br />referenced matter. They asked me, as president, to communicate to <br />you our request that the Board of Commissioners make the declaration <br />in order for the citizens of Cabarrus County to join to~ether with <br />citizens throughout the State in commemorating April as an entire <br />month devoted to clean-up and beautification activities. In this <br />important celebration, the County Commissioners provide instrumental <br />leadership fostering greater pride in the community and encouraging <br />projects to improve the cleanliness and beauty of our environment. <br /> <br />Attached is a sample resolution. Please schedule this matter for <br />consideration by the Board of Commissioners. Keep Cabarrus Clean <br />and Beautiful, Inc. will be publicizing the numerous activities <br />planned around the County during April and hope to include the' <br />declaration as the keystone of the month's program. <br /> <br />As always, we truly appreciate the support of the Commissioners and <br />the County Administration and staff.
