The University al North Carolina at Charlotte Urban Institute. Proiect Agreement This agreement, made and entered into this day of , 19~_~ between the Urban Institute at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte {hereinafter nUNCC~'), and The County of Cabarrus, hereinafter known as "Sponsor'~, witnesseth that: hl/HEREAS~ each party desires to enter into this Agreement for the benefits reasonably expected to be gained therefroml The parties hereto mutually agree as follows: 1. Scope of HI'ICC is hereby engaged by Sponsor to lacilitate services for the Transportation Task Force of the Carolina Counties Coalition, As facilitators~ UNCC personnel will have the responsibility of Task Force meeting logistics and facilitation of the discussions. All decisions about critical issues will be made exclusively by the Task Force. Primary objectives to be accomplished by the Task Force are the following: o Mission of Transportation Task Force or related organizational entity. o Goals of Task Force or related organizational entity. o Organizational options. o Funding options. Urban Institute personnel will prepare draft documents as requested by the Task Force~ will prepare the Final Report based on the Task Force~s recommei~dations~ and will also gather information about other regional transportation entities~ requested. 2. ~I/or k Schedule It is understood and agreed that UNCC will conduct its work February 15, 1959 through 3uly 31, 1989. 3. Fi .npncial Sponsor agrees to pay to IJNCC the sum of $1,000 payable upon approval of contract. Entire Agreement This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties. No other terms and conditions~ be they consistent~ inconsistent~ or additional to those contained herein~ shall be minding upon UNGG~ unless and until such terms and conditions shall have been specifically accepted in writing by UNGC.
