(d) Cabarrus County - Establishment of licit <br />Art Collection. One (11 share shall be distributed to th~ <br />Cabarrus County Commission fo~ the purpose of establ~shin~ and <br />maintaining an art collection to be known as the "Don $. and <br />Margaret M. Holt Art Collection." I request that the Board of <br />Trustees of the Cabarrus County Publi~ibrary, or other govern- <br />ing body of the Cabarrus County Public Library, use this bequest <br />in such a manner that the Don S. and Margaret M. Holt Art Collec- <br />tion may further art educatio~ for all citizens of Cabarrus <br />County. I further direct that the Cabarrus County Commission <br />expend fonds from this share to purchase a bronze plague bearing <br />the follo~ing inscription: "The Don S. and Margaret M. Holt Art <br />Collectioa is give0 in memory of Don S. Holt, President and Chief <br />Executive Officer of Cannon Mills Company from 1962-1974, <br />Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cannon Mills Company from <br />1971-1974, and a member of the Board of Directors of Cannon Mills <br />Company from 1962-1980." This plaque shall be placed in a <br />suitable location at the first public library to be established <br />in Kannapolis, North Carolina. <br /> <br /> <br />
