Internal Operatio.s Please describe briefly the meier goals of your organization and the overall <br /> slrategy lot implementing I hose goals. Summarize your oxganizalio~s planning <br /> process, how your organization works to develop Ihe arts in your counl~ how <br /> <br /> Tile Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department £s dedicated to meeting the <br /> <br />these needs in two major areas: facilities and programs. Facilities are developed both <br />by the county and with other community organizationo through a matching grants program. <br />P~ograms are developed to meet the needs that are net being nerved by other local <br />agencies, public or private. Needs are fdentified through contact with various individuals <br /> <br />itself. The department has attempted to develop swell-balanced art~ program for citizeee <br />of all ages with both visual and performing arts. The staff of the department, along with <br /> <br />5. With these needs in mind, tile idea of the Arts <br />Camps was formed. In the oummer of 1990, sessions in puppetry, mime, dance, drama, juggling, <br />music, and visual arts such as drawing and painting will be offered for youths aged 6-18. <br />Profegsionalo in the~e area~ will be hired tn provide iestruction. Costs per participant <br />will be kept as low as posoible to make the campo accessible to as many persons as possible. <br /> <br /> <br />
