Box 707 <br /> Cottcord, North Carolina <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Ruffin: <br /> <br /> Thank you for your letter of March 27, 1989 confirming the <br /> Cabarrus County Board of Commissioner's support for consideration <br /> of an additional alternate route for the northern leg of the <br /> proposed Kanlacon West-Side Bypass, TIP Project U-2009. We will <br /> note your support for this project in our transportation needs <br /> listing for Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> Your support for this project will be brought to the atten- <br /> tion of your Board of Transportation representatives, Seddon <br /> Goode, Jr., James E. Nance and Jim Garrison, for their considera- <br /> tion as the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is updated <br /> later this year. You may wish to attend the Transportation <br /> Improvement Program Update Meeting, to be held for your area on <br /> Thursday, May 1~, in the Auditoritnm of Anson Technical College in <br /> Polkton. Registration to speak will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the <br /> meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m.. Representatives of the Board of <br /> Transportation, as well as, members of the Department of Trans- <br /> portation staff will be available to listen to suggestions for <br /> highway improvements in your area. <br /> <br /> Your request that a fifth alternate route for the northern <br /> leg of the bypass be considered to allow for the development of <br /> the Dogwood subdivision will be forwarded to the project engi- <br /> neer, Mr. Cyrus Painter, for his consideration. <br /> <br /> <br />
