The architect had indicated <br /> that the walls be painted. From past experience we have found that painted <br /> or galvanized with paint shower units will not hold up under the institution <br /> abuses and use. <br /> <br /> I directed Cabarrus Construction to get the shower stalls finished with ceramic <br /> tile due to the above factors. We needed to get this done while the tile <br /> installers were here on other parts of the job and before the walls were painted. <br /> <br /> Please bring this matter before the board and explain the u~gency of g~tting <br /> the job done in a timely manner so as to not hold up construction or require <br /> installation after the walls were painted as shown with very glossy high performance <br /> paint that would not have provided a suitable mounting surface for the tile <br /> adhesive. <br /> <br /> Your cooperation in this matter will be greatly appreciated. <br /> <br /> Sincerely ~. <br /> <br /> Robert M.
