CABARRUS ARTS COUNCIL, INC. CONTRACT FOR 1989-90 N.C. GRA~SROOTS ARTS PROGRAM AWARDS Acceptance of this award constitutes an obligation upon the applicant to fulfill and comply with the following requirements during the grant period July 1, 1989-June 30, 1990. The signature of the applicant's authorizing official certifies that the applicant agrees to fully abide by the requirements set forth within this contract. That signature further certifies that all information contained in the applicant's grant application, attachments and supportive material is true and correct. Requirements: 1. The applicant must match this grant according to the project budget submitted within the grant application or any subsequent approved revision of that budget. 2. The applioant must'ensure that N.C. Grassroots Arts Program funds are not used for the following: a)personnel positions, including but not limited to wages and benefits. b) deficit funding, including but not limited to expenses incurred prior to the grant period. c) capital expenditures, including but not limited to building, renovating, or remodeling facilities. 3. All published materials and announcements regarding the funded project should contain the following special note: "This project is supported by a grant from the Grassroots Arts Program of the North Carolina Arts Council, a state agency and the Cabarrus Arts Council, Inc." 4. The applicant must forward copies of programs, newsletters, press releases and any other published materials concerning the funded project to the Cabarrus Arts Council; P.O. BOX 809; Coneord, NC 28026~0809. 5. The applicant must submit the enclosed grantee evaluation form with any necessary supportive material to the Cabarrus Arts Council within 30 days of the completion of the funded pro3ect or by June 15, 1990, whichever comes first.
