CABARRUS ARTS COUNCIL, INC. <br /> <br /> CONTRACT FOR 1989-90 N.C. GRA~SROOTS ARTS PROGRAM AWARDS <br /> <br />Acceptance of this award constitutes an obligation upon <br />the applicant to fulfill and comply with the following <br />requirements during the grant period July 1, 1989-June 30, 1990. <br />The signature of the applicant's authorizing official certifies <br />that the applicant agrees to fully abide by the requirements set <br />forth within this contract. That signature further certifies <br />that all information contained in the applicant's grant <br />application, attachments and supportive material is true and <br />correct. <br /> <br />Requirements: <br /> <br />1. The applicant must match this grant according to the project <br />budget submitted within the grant application or any subsequent <br />approved revision of that budget. <br /> <br />2. The applioant must'ensure that N.C. Grassroots Arts Program <br />funds are not used for the following: <br /> <br /> a)personnel positions, including but not limited to wages <br /> and benefits. <br /> <br /> b) deficit funding, including but not limited to expenses <br /> incurred prior to the grant period. <br /> <br /> c) capital expenditures, including but not limited to <br /> building, renovating, or remodeling facilities. <br /> <br />3. All published materials and announcements regarding the funded <br />project should contain the following special note: <br /> <br /> "This project is supported by a grant from the Grassroots <br /> Arts Program of the North Carolina Arts Council, a state <br /> agency and the Cabarrus Arts Council, Inc." <br /> <br />4. The applicant must forward copies of programs, newsletters, <br />press releases and any other published materials concerning the <br />funded project to the Cabarrus Arts Council; P.O. BOX 809; <br />Coneord, NC 28026~0809. <br /> <br />5. The applicant must submit the enclosed grantee evaluation form <br />with any necessary supportive material to the Cabarrus Arts <br />Council within 30 days of the completion of the funded pro3ect or <br />by June 15, 1990, whichever comes first. <br /> <br /> <br />
