Section 2. Collection of the tax by the Cabarrus County <br />Finance Officer, and liability therefor, shall begin and continue <br />on and after the 1st day of 9. <br /> <br /> Section 3. The net proceeds of the tax levied herein, i.e. <br />the gross proceeds less five percent (5%) of the amount <br />collected, shall be distributed by the Cabarrus County IFinance <br />Officer. to the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority, or otherwise, <br />on a monthly basis as prescribed by said enabling legislation. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
