On Jufie 29, 1989, the Board of Corm-nissioners unanimously voted to appoint a <br />committee tO study the concept of district representation for the Board of County <br />Commissioners. Representatives on the committee will be determined as f611ows. <br /> <br /> (1) One representative will be appointed by the governing board of each <br /> municipality; <br /> <br /> City of Concord Mr. Lamar Barrier <br /> City of Kannapolls Mr. Robert S. Misenheimer <br /> Town of Harrisburg Mr. Don Helms <br /> Town of Mt. Pleasant Ms. Kay Scott <br /> <br /> (2) Four at-large representatives will be appointed by the Board of <br /> County Commissioners; and <br /> <br /> (3) The DemoCratic and Republican Chairmen for the county will be <br /> appointed. <br /> <br /> <br />
