For the past 3 meetir~gs, I have had m conflict between the <br />needs of the business cq' scheclu]ed vacation l;ime and the published <br />board me{mting schmdule. I will be on vacation this week and will <br />m~ss the August meeting. In July, I was in Taiwan on bus,ness. In <br />June.~ I was in London on business. I believe I also missed the <br />January seeking because I was in Taiwan. Tbab makes three meetir~gs <br />in a row and a total of four or 5D~ of this year's meeting-~ that <br />~ missed. I see no relief ~n sight Fo~ the ~ear future, ~or do I <br />wi~h to impede 'the progress we see~ to be mal~ing now on 'the issues <br />facing us. f.~,! fellow Cabarrus County residents deserve be~ter rep- <br />resentation than I have been er will be able to deliver in the <br />seeable futu~' e. <br /> <br /> I have enjoyed my short association wi~h this important worR and <br />e~peclaIly ;.¢ith all of my fellow board members and associates.
