Petition 89-02. Planning Staff, Section 4.12, "Subdivision Lot Size <br /> Reduction , page 34. This change will allow the lot size reduction <br /> proposed for the Cabarrus County Subdivision Regulation~ to comply with <br /> the Cabarrus County Zonin9 Ordinance. The Planning Board voted 5-0 <br /> to approve this petition. <br /> <br /> 2. Petition 89-03. Planning Staff (by request of the Cabarrus County <br /> Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment), amend Section 5.6 <br /> "Sign Regulations". In addition, the following changes are required <br /> to reconcile the sign regulation changes to the remainder of the <br /> Zoning Ordinance: <br /> <br /> a. Amend Section 16" ' page 128, by <br /> Definitions", <br /> deleting the word "sign" from the definition <br /> of "structure". <br /> <br /> b. Amend Section 3.2-4 "Schedule of Use Regulations , <br /> page 11-J, by deleting the line item for "Signs <br /> (Advertising)". <br /> <br /> c. Amend Section 3.2-4 "Schedule of Use Regulations", <br /> ~age 11-J, to change the line item for "Signs <br /> Off-Premise)'~ to not permit these signs in the <br /> C-3 zoning district. <br /> The Planning Board voted 5-0 to approve this petition. <br /> <br /> SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS TEXT AMENDMENT <br /> <br />1. Petition 89-02. Planning Staff, Section 4.9, Number 14, page 22, "Roads". <br /> Ihls change wlll allow the Planning Board to require right-of-way <br /> dedication by property owners subdividing land adjacent to roads listed <br /> in the Cabarrus County Thoroughfare Plan as needing expanded right-of-way. <br /> In exchange, the Planning Board will allow the property owner total <br /> lot size reduction equal to the amount dedicated. The Planning Board <br /> voted 5-0 to approve this petition. <br /> <br /> <br />
