Archer, Aging Program Administrator <br /> DATE: January 29, 1988 <br /> RE: Quarterly Status Report on Aging Programs <br /> <br /> Enclosed are eharts showing the status of aging programs in Region F for tile period <br /> July 1, 1987 througl~ December 31, 1987. Since two quarters of tile contract period <br /> have been completed, at least 50% of all goals should have been reached. <br /> <br /> Charts 1 through 3 pertain to the Titlp III Social Services and Nutrition programs. <br /> Chart 1 reflects the persons served and units of service goals, the number served year <br /> to date, and the percentage of the goal. Chart 2 shows the amount of grant funds <br /> earned by contractors based on the number of units of service provided uuder <br /> performance based contracting. Chart 3 is a report by agency on program income <br /> collected. Also reflected is the average amount of program income collected per meal <br /> served for congregate and home delivered meals. Charts 4 and 5 reflect the <br /> enrollment and expenditures of the lead agencies invotved in tile Title V Senior <br /> Community Service Employment Project. <br /> <br /> Most contractors are near their goal in providing units of service at 50% of tile <br /> contract period. Agencies who have provided tess than 45% or more than 55% of their <br /> units of service are being notified by separate letter. Services will be monitored <br /> between now and March 31, 1988 by tile Area Agency on Aging. Those agencies who <br /> are providing services at less than 70% at 75% or' the year (March 31, 1988) will be <br /> reprogrammed to the level of service being provided.
