Shinn Contractors 190,921.95 <br /> Wright & Lopez, Inc. 208,525.06 <br /> <br /> The apparent low bidder for Contract No. 1 at the bid opening remained <br /> the low bidder after the bids had been checked and certified. A <br /> tabulation of bids with a detailed breakdown of unit prices is attached <br /> to this report. <br /> <br /> Only one bid was received for Contract No. 2 - Electrical, and <br /> therefore, with less than the three bids required by State statues, the <br /> bid was returned to the Contractor unopened. <br /> <br />VII. RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> <br /> A. Contract No. 1 - General Construction <br /> <br /> It is our recommendation that the District accept the bids received <br /> on Contract No. 1 and award the contract to the low bidder, BRS, <br /> Inc. in the amount of $189,699.00. <br /> <br /> B. Contract No. 2 - Electrical <br /> <br /> It is our recommendation that Contract No. 2 - Electrical be re- <br /> advertised for bids to be received on Thursday, March 3, 1988 at <br /> 2:00 P.M. EST.
