<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENTION TO <br />SUBMIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COHMERCE AN <br />APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF AN INDUSTRIAL PROJECT <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Industrial Facilities and Pollution <br />Control Financing Authority (the "Authority") has determined to <br />issue its revenue bonds in the principal amount of not more than <br />$4,000,000 for the financing of all or a portion of the cost of an <br />industrial project on behalf of Americhem, Inc. and intends to <br />submit to the Secretary of the Department of Commerce an application <br />for approval of the project if the issuance of the revenue bonds <br />and the nature and location of the project are approved by the <br />Board of County Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus, <br />North Carolina, <br /> <br />The project consists of the acquisition of a site of <br />approximately 6.0 acres located at Lot 7, Concord Business <br />Park, 723 Commerce Drive, Concord, North Carolina 28026, the <br />construction of a 42,000 square foot building thereon and the <br />acquisition and installation of machinery and equipment <br />in such facility in Cabarrus County, North Carolina for the <br />manufacture of colored dispersions (the "Project"). The <br />approximate cost of the Project is $4,000,000 and .the maximum <br />aggregate principal amount of bonds proposed to be issued by <br />the Authority is $4,000,000, The Project will be owned and <br />operated by Americhem, Inc., and will create approximately <br />40 jobs. The Authority entered into a Hemorandum of Agreement <br />with Americhem, Inc, dated December 17, 1987, committing <br />the Authority, upon the satisfaction of the terms contained <br />in such agreement, to issue its revenue bonds on behalf of the <br />Project. <br /> <br />Please take notice that the Board of County Commissioners <br />of the County of Cabarrus will hold a public hearing in the <br />Commissioner's meeting room at the CabaTrus County Courthouse, <br />Concord, North Carolina on April 18, 1988, at 7:00 o'clock, <br />P,H., at which time any person may be heard regarding the <br />proposed issuance of such revenue bonds and the nature and <br />location of the Project. Following the hearing the Board <br />of County Commissioners intends to consider and take action <br />on proposals to approve the issuance of such revenue bonds and <br />to approve the Project in principle, <br /> <br />Any person wishing to CODnuent in writing on the proposed <br />revenue bonds, the Project and the submission of the application <br />in connection therewith should do so, within fourteen (14) <br />days after the date of publication of this notice, to the <br />Authority, c/o Clerk of County Board of Commissioners, Post <br />Office Box 707, Concord, North Carolina 28025, to the County <br /> <br />:v <br />
