NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENTION TO SUBMIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COHMERCE AN APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF AN INDUSTRIAL PROJECT The Cabarrus County Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority (the "Authority") has determined to issue its revenue bonds in the principal amount of not more than $4,000,000 for the financing of all or a portion of the cost of an industrial project on behalf of Americhem, Inc. and intends to submit to the Secretary of the Department of Commerce an application for approval of the project if the issuance of the revenue bonds and the nature and location of the project are approved by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, The project consists of the acquisition of a site of approximately 6.0 acres located at Lot 7, Concord Business Park, 723 Commerce Drive, Concord, North Carolina 28026, the construction of a 42,000 square foot building thereon and the acquisition and installation of machinery and equipment in such facility in Cabarrus County, North Carolina for the manufacture of colored dispersions (the "Project"). The approximate cost of the Project is $4,000,000 and .the maximum aggregate principal amount of bonds proposed to be issued by the Authority is $4,000,000, The Project will be owned and operated by Americhem, Inc., and will create approximately 40 jobs. The Authority entered into a Hemorandum of Agreement with Americhem, Inc, dated December 17, 1987, committing the Authority, upon the satisfaction of the terms contained in such agreement, to issue its revenue bonds on behalf of the Project. Please take notice that the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus will hold a public hearing in the Commissioner's meeting room at the CabaTrus County Courthouse, Concord, North Carolina on April 18, 1988, at 7:00 o'clock, P,H., at which time any person may be heard regarding the proposed issuance of such revenue bonds and the nature and location of the Project. Following the hearing the Board of County Commissioners intends to consider and take action on proposals to approve the issuance of such revenue bonds and to approve the Project in principle, Any person wishing to CODnuent in writing on the proposed revenue bonds, the Project and the submission of the application in connection therewith should do so, within fourteen (14) days after the date of publication of this notice, to the Authority, c/o Clerk of County Board of Commissioners, Post Office Box 707, Concord, North Carolina 28025, to the County :v
