Lentz/ In terim County Manager
F. Owens/Planning Dir~ctor ~
13,1987

From:

James

Date:

April

Subject:

Proposed CD8G appl ication for Fishertmm

This memo is in response to the first public hearing the County had in
regards for a CDßG application. Attached are the proposed costs and a
rough dl'aft of the proposed target area for the Fishertown Community.
This sp.cond public hearing would be keeping in line with the State's
guidelines regarding the application process for CDßG funds. At the
second public hearing we will need for the County to state whether it
is willing to participate in the funding process as to financial assistance
and the amount the County is I'lilling to participate.

Presently \'Ie are asking the County to participate with $200,000. It may
be conceivable that with the present Highway 73 CDßG project that we will
be able to save the County an approximate $100,000 out of the $157,000 the
County committed. This amount could be rolled into next year's project if
funded. Therefore, the County only be committing an additional $100,000
to the Fishertown project.

Thank you for youl' time concerni ng thi smatter.

3

I
