Owens/Planning Director~.:~V <br />DATE: April 26, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: Proposed County Airport <br /> <br />In speaking with Mr. Bruce Matthews, Manager of Aviation Development for North <br />Carolina Department of Transportation, Mr~ Matthews stated on this date that <br />he would be able to attend the Commissioners' meeting May 2, 1988. He will <br />be here a little before 3 o'clock the day of the meeting, and looks forward <br />in meeting with the Commissioners to discuss the proposed airport. <br /> <br />Also in speaking with Mr, Thomas Roberts, Civil Engineer for the FAA in AtIanta <br />Georgia, on this date, he or Mr. Sam Austin, Manager of tile FAA in Atlanta will <br />also be attending said meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
