CABARRUS UTILITIES BOARD <br /> <br /> UPON ~TION of Commissioner Melvin, seconded by ChairmAn Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board established the Cabarrus Utilities Board <br />consisting of nine members as suggested by'the resolution adopted by the <br />Board on November 16~ 1987, and that those nine members serve staggered terms <br />of three members each with years designated as years one, two, and three <br />years of service. The Board made the following appointments to the Cabarrus <br />Utilities Board: Mr. Tim Bagler recommended by the governing board of the <br />Town of Harrisburg, Mayor Ralph Austin recommended by the governing board of <br />the Town of Mount Pleasant, Mayor Pro Tem Harold D. Holbrook recommended by <br />the governing board of the City of Kannapolis, Mr. Charles T. Bridges from <br />the City of Concord, and Mr. Melvin Rape from the City of Kannapolts. The <br />advisory board is to become effective May 1, 1988. <br /> <br /> Adopted March 21, 1988 <br /> <br /> Remaining appointments are as 'follows: <br /> <br /> --one member recommended by tbe City or,Concord <br /> <br /> --three ~embers appointed by the commission co serve at-large from the <br /> unincorporated areas of Cabarrus County <br /> <br /> <br />
