PITTS SCHOOL ROAD WATER MAIN EXTENSION <br /> <br /> CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 <br /> CONTRACT 2 <br /> <br /> Attachment 1 <br /> <br />Contractor shall accept delivery of materials furnished by others under <br />Contract No. 1 at a site and time to be determined. Representatives of the <br />Owner and Contractor shall verify the quantities of all materials at tile time <br />of delivery. After acceptance of materials by Contractor, Contractor shall <br />be wholly responsible for the Care and storage of all materia]s, supplies, or <br />equipment delivered to tile work site. All additional materials, supplies or <br />equipment necessary to complete the work resulting from damage or <br />deterioration during storage and/or loss from any other reason shall be the <br />sole responsibility of the Contractor. <br /> <br />Upon acceptance by the Contractor, tile materials are assumed to be in good <br />condition and tile Contractor shall make no claim against the Owner for <br />material failure during installation testing. Contractor's Guaranty as <br />required in Para, 29 of the General Conditions, pg 9 of 9, will apply to both <br />work and materials and equipmewnt as if tile materials and equipment had been <br />supplied by the Contractor. <br /> <br />Tile ctlange to the contract price shall include all costs for bonds, <br />insurance, permits and any other costs associated with the storage, <br />protection, and/or incorporation into the project of the materials, supplies <br />or equipment described above. <br /> <br />Costs for providin9 additional materials which may be required due to <br />increases in contract quantities on future change orders shall be negotiated <br />with the Owner at the time the request ~s initiated. <br /> <br /> <br />
