Our attorney, after a preliminary review of the <br />contract, has advised us that it is considered an inter-local cooperative <br />agreement. This requires, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute, <br />Chapter 160-A, Article 20, Part 1 that it be ratified by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of both counties prior to execution. <br /> <br />We are currently arranging to present this contract to our Board at their <br />meeting on June 6, 1988 and request that a similar request for ratification <br />by your Board be made at your earliest convenience. After ratification, <br />please sign and return both copies to the attention of Ms. Sherry Ward, <br />Business Office Assistant at the below address.
