Cook, J~..~ <br />REGARDING: Budget Revision <br /> <br />Tho Department .of .Social Services has been notified that the grant <br />request to establish a Home-Based Services Program has been approved by <br />the Division of Youth Services of the North Carolina Department of Human <br />Resources. At its May 16, 1988 meeting the Board of County Commissioners <br />gave approval for our agency to apply for state funding for the program. <br /> <br />Enclosed is a budget revision to establish a revenue line item for GBA <br />Home-Based Services. A new social work position is created through this <br />grant and expensr:s are reflected accordingly. A new CBA Home-Based <br />Services expense line item will also be necessary in order to reflect <br />the youth activities component of the program. <br /> <br />Please have this budget revisio~ placed on the agendn for the Board of <br />County Commissioners at the earliest convenience.
