Box 2091 <br /> Raleigh, N.C. 27602-2091 <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Benrick: <br /> <br /> I am writing at the request of Mr. James Lentz, Chairman of the Board of <br /> Commissioners for Cabarrus County, North Carolina. <br /> <br />South Concord Sanitary District, which is located entirely in Cabarrus County, <br />has been annexed by the City of Concord. A petition signed by more than 51% <br />of the resident freeholders of the District was presented to the Board of <br />County Commissioners, requesting dissolution of tile District. The District <br />has no outstanding indebtedness. <br /> <br />The Commissioners have contacted the Board of Aldermen of ti~e City of Concord <br />and have scheduled a public hearing on the dissolution for 5:30 p.m. on Monday, <br />October 24, 1988. We would appreciate it very much if a representative of <br />the Secretary of the Department of Human Resources could be present at this <br />meeting as required by law. <br /> <br />I am enclosing a copy of the Notice of the meeting which will be published <br />once a week for four weeks prior to tile meeting. <br /> <br />I have represented the South Concord Sanitary District since its'fgrmation <br />and will be happy to give you further information if you so desire. <br /> <br /> Sincerely yours, <br /> <br /> B.
