Transportation (Title III-B only) <br /> Health Screening <br /> Chore <br /> Respite Care <br /> Nutrition <br /> <br />The Weatherization program uses approximately 80 percent of its total <br />budget for the elderly and is is keeping with the intent of Aging <br />Services. <br /> <br /> County and private funded programs include the senior games, Senior <br />center, and newsletter. Inclusively, all named eategoriesare in concert <br />with the overall goal to preserve the dignity of senior adults in <br />Cabarrus County andto provide a comprehensive aging department with no <br />additional expense for the county. <br /> <br /> It is understood that the Department of Aging and the Department of <br />Social Services will coordinate such services as chore and transportation <br />(Medicaid Transportation Services and Block Grant Transportation <br />Services) utilizing contrac~nal agreements for reimbursement and <br />providing a smooth transition and effective provision for county <br />services. <br /> <br /> Martha H.
