U, S~ Tire Disposal has located a facility <br /> in Cabarrus County and has offered to receive all <br /> tires. ~s part of this request it is,recommended that <br /> the Board of Commissi6ners approve a $1.50 handling <br /> fee for all tires inappropriately dumped into the <br /> landfill which,will have to be removed and transported <br /> to D. S. Tire Disposal by county personnel. <br /> <br /> Tires take up a substantial amount of'space and I <br /> would strongly recommend that the commission act to <br /> ban tires from our landfill since an acceptable <br /> alternative exists. <br /> <br /> ft <br /> <br /> <br />
