services and, in the interest and welfare of its citizens, COUNTY <br />desires to provide financial support for a portion of the costs <br />i~curred by KCCBI in d~livering such services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, COUNTY has appropriated the sum of <br /> <br /> Dollars ($ ) to assist KCCBI in its <br /> <br />delivering such services for the period January 1 - June 30, <br />1989. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, COUNTY and <br />KCCBi do mutually agree to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. This contract shall begin January 1, 1989, and shall <br />exist and continue through June 30, 1989. <br /> <br /> 2. KCCBI shall initiate and implement programs designed to <br />plant, cultivate and/or clean up public property, to educate the <br />general public regarding the benefits of a clean environment, and <br />to institute other programs designed to reduce litter and other <br />physical pollution of the environment in Cabarrus County for the <br />benefit of all'its Citizens. <br /> <br /> 3. COUNTY Shall allocate and pay to KCCBI six (6) monthly <br /> <br />payments of ($. ~00 ) each, for a <br />total of -Dollars ($ ), with <br /> <br />each monthly payment to be made on or about the last day of each <br /> <br />month, commencing With January, 1989. <br /> <br /> 4. KCCBI shall use the funds paid to it by COUNTY for the <br /> <br />public purposes set forth hereinbefore.
