The renaming <br /> of this road will require a public hearing prior to official action. <br /> <br /> Bethel Church Road to Cabarrus Station Road <br /> <br /> A couple of years ago a road petition was submitted to change the lower end of <br />SR 2601 to Cabarrus Station Road. The original petition renamed Cabarrus Station <br />Road from the southern intersection of Oak Grove Circle to the Mecklenburg County <br />line. This petition extends this road name change to the northern intersection <br />of Oak Grove Circle with SR 2601. People along this section of SR 26D1 having been <br />using Cabarrus Station Road in their street address and want to officially change <br />the name ofthis-section of'-roadway to~eflect--their current--address-l~stings. <br /> <br />If possible, I would like to request that the public hearing be scheduled for the <br />January 19, 1987 Con~nissioners' meeting and be included on the agenda. <br /> <br />Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. <br /> <br /> <br />
