Existing co~unlty developments such as mobile <br /> home pork~, apartment complexes, and condominiums that do <br /> not have public dedicated streets within the project may be <br /> served through master meters. 'Billing for such service <br /> will be at the stand&rd rates however, the minimum charged <br /> shall be no less.than the standard minimum times the number <br /> of units served. <br /> <br /> B. Extension ~ Service to New Development <br /> <br /> It shall be the responsibility of the developer to <br /> extend service to all new development. The systems shell be <br /> designed in accordances with specifications provided by the <br /> District. The fire protection shall be required based on <br /> the formula I/5 maximum instantaneous domestic flow plus 500 <br /> GPM fire flow at a minimum residual pressure of 20 PSI at <br /> the highest hydrant in the syatem. Fire hydrants shall be <br /> spaced to provide coverage within a 1,000 foot radius for <br /> residential development or a 500 foot radius for commercial <br /> development. <br /> <br /> Minimum line size shall be 2 inches. Line sizes <br /> of 2 1/2", 3", 4", or lO" are unacceptable. <br /> <br /> The District will make applications for all <br /> necessary permits for extensions. No tie-ins to the <br /> existing system may be made until all permits have been <br /> secured by the District. <br /> <br /> The developer shall secure the services of a <br /> professional engineer to design the system per District <br /> guideli.nes. Thc District w~ll monitor and inspect ali <br /> construction to ensure conformity with approved design <br /> drawings. <br /> <br /> All extensions must be within maintained road <br /> rights-of-ways and will riel be activated until proof of such <br /> dedication has been provided to the District. <br /> <br /> Each individual unit with the exception of <br /> apartment complexes, condominiums, end shopping centers must <br /> have an individual meter. <br /> <br /> Meters will be furnished by the District at the <br /> cost listed in the rate schedule. <br /> <br /> Each occupancy or property owner must post a <br />':?~i security deposit and turn-on fee prior to activation of the <br /> service. <br />-!i::.'''''~'~ In the case of shopping centers, individual meter <br /> services may be installed provided that the water lines ere <br /> installed within the driveway or parking areas and that a <br /> <br /> <br />
