CANNON MEMORIAL LIBRARY <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Date: February 12, 1987 <br /> <br />lo: Blair Bennett <br /> Cabarrus County Finance Director <br /> <br />From: Tom Dillard <br /> Library Director <br /> <br />Subject: Amendment of 1986-87 Library Budget <br /> <br />Please be advised that funds budgeted for the purchase of Library Materials <br />(books, films, records, magazines, etc)are nearly exhausted. In order to <br />continue to purchase Library Materials for the remainder of the current <br />fiscal year, I request that the remainder of the grant made to the County <br />last year by the the Cannon lrust be added to the line item "Other Operation- <br />al costs, fund number 19-3D-355, which is the account used for the purchase <br />of Library Materials. This amount is $ 20,ODO.O0. The Cannon Trust Grant <br />was made with the stipulation that the money be used for the purchase of <br />Library Materials and equipment only after the funds appropriated for those <br />purposes in the regular budget had been exhausted. <br /> <br />Since we are holding several book orders ~ntil these funds are available, I <br />also request that this amendment be presented to the Commissioners as soon <br />as possible. <br /> <br /> <br />
