McGinnis, County Manager <br />County of Cabarrus <br />Post Office Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. McGinnis: <br /> <br />The Chamber's second annual "Share Cabarrus Festival" will be held <br />on Saturday, May 16, 1987 from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM in downtown <br />Concord. A full day of activities has been planned for the citizens <br />of Cabarrus County and surro~n~ng areas. We appreciate very much <br />the use of the courthouse property last year for our festival. <br /> <br />We again seek the approval of the Cabarrus County Commissioners to <br />use this property again this year on May 16 from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM. <br />Our plans are to have children's activities in the parking lot behind <br />the old courthouse, information booth on the corner lawn of Union and <br />Means, and food vendors on Means between the courthouse and First Union <br />National Bank. Means Street will be blocked. <br /> <br />The children's activities will be supervised by personnel from the <br />Concord Parks & Recreation Department and Cabarrus Parks & Recreation <br />Departa~nt.
