Hazardous ~aste Treatment Commission has been co~sidering 139 <br /> sites in 42 counties as potentially suitable for a comprehensive hazardous <br /> waste treatment facility. The Commission has looked at the following sites <br /> in your county: <br /> <br /> Site ID Number Name Nearest Town/City <br /> <br /> I1301 "Pharr Hill Road" Harrisburg <br /> I1302 "Stough Road" Jackson Park <br /> <br /> On Friday, Narch 27, the Com~ission made the decision that the sites in <br /> your county do not meet the site-selection guidelines adopted by the Co~mis- <br /> sion. Consequently, [hg sites are no lon~gr ?nder active ~onsideration by <br /> the Con~ission as potentially suitable for the facility the Coamission is <br /> charged with siting. <br /> <br /> Let me emphasize that the sites are ruled out only for the purposes of <br /> the N.
