A RESOLUTIO~ <br /> <br /> I~hereas~ sixteen thousand plus older adults reside in Csbarrus end <br />have been residents of the county for more than sixty years, <br /> <br /> ~/hereas~ Cabarrus County Commissioners share a mutual interest and <br />concern in the longevity and well being of it's older adult population, <br /> <br /> ~hereas~ the Cabarrua County Commissioners are co~itted to serving <br />the people of Cabarrus County vith a quality of service in the most cost <br />effective manner, <br /> <br /> ~erese, the number of sixty plus individuals are increasing from <br />~enty to twenty five percent each decade, <br /> <br /> 14harass there is a facility needed to coordinate access to <br />available resources and focalize entry level to county service provision <br />to offset duplication, <br /> <br /> NOWs THEREFOREs Ua the County Co~missioners of Cabarrus County do <br />hereby resolve to commit a sum of~e-4ltmd~ed--~housand. Dollars for two <br />consecutive fiscal yeats to establish seed dollars to seek other funding <br />sources for a facility for the Service Delivery for the sixty plus <br />population of Cabarrus County. The above stated funds ~ill be earmarked <br />(or placed in a trust f:md) to house the Office of Aging Services and <br />provide training ground for satelliting service delivery to the outlying <br />parts of the county, <br /> <br /> <br />
