O. The name of the first responder agency with <br /> which the appt leant individual is to be <br /> <br /> 3. Upon receipt of an application approved by the Advisory <br /> board, a nertificate to operate as a first responder <br /> agency in Cabarrus County, the Cabarrus County Office of <br /> the Emergency Services wi ) I forward such applications to <br /> the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners for their <br /> approval. <br /> <br /> 4. The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners shall approve <br /> or disapprove all applications for first responder <br /> agency status and grant certificates to operate as a <br /> first responder agen=y in Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> 3. Upon receipt of application for certificate to operate <br /> as an individual first responder in Cabarrus County, the <br /> Oirector of Emergency Services or his designated <br /> representative will approve or disapprove all <br /> applications based on criteria in Section S of this <br /> document. <br /> <br /> 6. Upon approval to operate as an individual first <br /> responder in Caba~rus County, a certificate and pocket <br /> card will be issued by Cabarru$ County Office of <br /> Emergency Services. .., <br /> <br />SECTION 4: Terms of Certification as a First Responder Agency <br /> and Individual Responder. <br /> <br /> 1. A certificate to operate as a first responder agency <br /> in Cabarrus County, and issued by the Cabarrus County <br /> Office of Emergency Services to an applicant agency will <br /> be permanent with four (4) individual first re[ponders. <br /> However, either party at its option may terminate the <br /> certificate upon thirty (30) days prior written notice <br /> to the other party or lmmedlatety upon failure to meet <br /> qualification standards. <br /> <br /> 2. A certificate to operate as an individual first <br /> responder in Cabarrus County, Issued by Cabarrus County <br /> Office of Emergency Services will be valid for a term of <br /> two (2) years. <br /> <br /> 3. If any first responder agency or individual first <br /> responder shall violate or fall to comply with any <br /> provision of these guidelines, notl ficat.lon will be <br /> given by the Director of the Cabarrus County Emergency <br /> Services to the first responder agency Fire Chief or <br /> hlslher designee stating the violation and requesting a <br /> meeting to resolve the violation.
