' <br /> <br /> At the request of the Board of County Commissioners, the Social <br /> Services Board, at i~s regular monthly meeting on 7-27-87, took under <br /> consideration the matter of a recommendation as to the Architect to he <br /> designated by the Board of County Commissioners for the buildlu~ <br /> addition at ~he Social Services building which is included in the 87-88 <br /> County budget. <br /> <br /> The Social Services Board acted co recommend that George Griffin be <br /> designated. <br /> <br /> fir. Griffin proposed a fee o£ 7Z for complete ~cchicectural <br /> services. Thi~ was cite low fee proposed by local firms. It is felt <br /> also that Hr. Griffin~s p~ox~u~ty, readiness, knowledge of the ex~sting <br /> building and Social Service programs, and preliminary work o~ plans will <br /> be advantageous co the County as ic undertakes this project. <br /> <br /> <br />
