- 4 - <br /> <br />The RanRers are part of the ConservaCloo Reserve Program Committee <br />which establishes cost-sharing rates and practices that will be <br />accepted through this federally-funded effort. <br /> <br />The North Carolina Forest Service works with the local chapters of <br />Future Farmers of America to set up and supervise their forestry <br />contests. Forest Service personnel instruct these agriculture <br />classes upon completion of the contest on aspects of forestry <br />that may be beneficial to future contests and the students' career <br />plans. <br /> <br />An exhibit was made and placed in the Cabarrus County Fair dealing <br />with pine beetle activity and other forestry-related topics. A <br />Forest Service Ranger was present at the fair exhibit to answer <br />questions on three nights during the fair. <br /> <br />The North Carolina Division of Forest Resources appreciates the <br />opportunity to serve and assist Cabarrus County through the County <br />Ranger's office, which is located at 2326 Davidson llighway, Concord. <br /> <br />Thank you for your continued support and feel free to call me at <br />phone number 782-6371 if there are questions involving services or <br />personnel. <br /> <br /> ROBERT C.
