Archer, Aging Program Administrator~"f' <br /> DATE: July 17, 1987 <br /> RE: Quarterly Status Report on Aging Progrsms <br /> <br /> The attached charts describe the FY '87 year end status of Title II]-B Social Services, <br /> Title III-C Nutrition Services and the Title V Senior Community Service Employment <br /> Project. All charts show the annual goals and the status of services provided as of <br /> June 30, 1987. It is important to note that this report reflects the revised service <br /> goals as amended in the Area Plan and in local eontrac!s. For some services, goals <br /> reflected on this status report will be different from the past three quarters. <br /> <br /> Charts 1 through 3 and chart 6 pertain to the Title III Social Services and Nutrition <br /> programs. Chart 1 reflects the persons served and units of service goals, the number <br /> served year to date, and the percentage of the goal. Fifty-five percent of the <br /> services attained or exceeded the number o1' persons served goal. Only six services did <br /> not reach 100% of their units of service goal. <br /> <br /> Chart 2 shows the amount of grant funds earned by contractors based on the number <br /> of units of service provided under performance based contracting. Four agencies did <br /> not earn the total allocated grant funds because the actual units of service goal was <br /> not reached. <br /> <br /> Chart 3 (Progress Report on Program Income Collections) indicates the amount of <br /> program income earned. Several agencies were able to exceed the projected goal. <br /> The additional program income was used by the agency to provide additional units of <br /> service as required by the Older Americaus Act. <br /> <br /> Chart 4 and 5 reflect the enrollment and expenditures of the lead agencies involved in <br /> the Title V Senior Community Service Employment Project. <br /> <br /> Chart 6 reflects the average amount of program income collected per meal served for <br /> congregate and home delivered meals. <br /> <br /> <br />
