Box 707 <br />Concord, N.C. 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Charles; <br /> <br /> The Library Board of Trustees has reviewed the agreement currently in <br />effect between the City of Concord and Cabarrus County concerning the <br />administration of the Charles A. Cannon Memorial Libraries in Concord and <br />Kannapolis. The agreement which expires on December 31, 1987 has in the <br />opinion of the Library Board of Trustees worked well and it is our recommenda- <br />tion that the terms of the agreement remained unchanged and that the agreement <br />be renewed for a second three year period. <br /> <br /> We do suggest that the current agreement be reviewed by the attorneys and <br />the appropriate officials of both governments. If changes are recon~ended by <br />either government, we request that a meeting be held to consider such re- <br />commendations with the appropriate officials from each government and Tom <br />Dillard, Library Director present.'
