Activities included <br /> work on project close-out. <br /> <br /> Mount Pleasant - Provided on-going Planning Services related to zoning issues. <br /> <br /> AGING ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />Title III - Sociol and Nutrition Services <br /> <br /> Conducted on-site assessment of Title III-B and Tit~e III-C services at DSS Office <br /> of Aging Services. <br /> <br /> Reviewed and batched MIS Client Registration forms for submission to N.C. Division <br /> of Aging. <br /> <br />Long Term Care Ombudsman Program <br /> <br /> Provided technical assistance to Nursing and Domiciliary Home Community Advisory <br /> Committees on committee reports and complaint resolution. <br /> <br />Training' <br /> <br /> Assisted staff person from N.C. Insurance Department to set up SHIIP (Seniors Health <br /> Insurance Information Program) training in Cabarrus County. Training is for volunteers <br /> to assist older adults with insurance problems. Other counties are encouraged to <br /> attend - particularly Stanly, Union, Rowan and lredell. <br /> <br /> JTPA ACTIVITIES <br /> <br /> Reviewed and corrected Monthly Performance Reports from contractors. <br /> Process. ed requests for funds from program contractors. <br /> Provided technical assistance to JTPA contractor staff. <br /> Program monitoring of SYETP activities in all six counties. <br /> <br /> Attended meetings with representatives from AT&T on August 4 and 11 to finalize <br /> plans for JTPA training/recruitment ['or 500+ new positions at AT&T. <br /> <br /> Attended LRO Finance Directors Meeting in Raleigh on August 19. <br />- Initiated PY'86 Fourth Quarter Eligibility Verification Sample. <br /> <br />- Prepared and mailed JTPA Program Performance Report for PY'86 to PIC members, <br /> County Managers, and Contractors. <br /> <br />- Completed information requested by the N.C. State Occupational Information <br /> Coordinating Committee on JTPA graduates from Community Colleges. <br /> <br /> <br />
