1987 (being the last'day on which persons may register for said <br />referendum except as otherwise-provided in said notice set forth <br />in Section 3 of this resolution) and once again not less than <br />seven days before said day, such notice to read substantially as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM <br /> in the <br /> COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> A special bond referendum will be held throughout Cabarrus <br />County, North Carolina, between d~30 A.M. and 7:30 P.M., on <br />Tuesday, December 15, 1987, at which there will be submitted to <br />the qualified voters of said County'the following questions: <br /> <br /> 1. <br /> <br /> Shall the order adopted on October 19, 1987, <br /> authorizing not exceeding $29,000,000 Sanitary <br /> Sewer Bonds of the County sf Cabarrus, North <br /> Carolina, for the purpose of providing funds, with <br /> any other awailable funds, for enlarging and <br /> extending the sanitary sewer system of said County, <br /> including the construction of additional sewage <br /> collector~ force and interceptor mains and lines, <br /> additional sewage pumping facilities, additional <br /> sewage, treatment facilities and appurtenant <br /> facilities, and the acquisition of necessary land, <br /> rights of way and equipment, and authorizing the <br /> levy of taxes in an amount sufficient to pay the <br /> principal of and the interest on said bonds, be <br /> approved? <br /> <br /> 2. <br /> <br /> Shall the order adopted on October 19, 1987, authorizing <br /> not exceeding $2,000,000 Technical College Bonds of the <br /> County of cabarrus, North Carolina, for the purpose of <br /> providing funds, with any other available funds, for <br /> constructing in said County facilities for post- <br /> secondary public education to be leased to and operated <br /> by The Trustees of Rowan Technical College as a <br /> satellite campus of Rowan Technical College, including <br /> the construction of a building, related parking <br /> facilities and other related site improvements or <br /> appurtenant facilities and the acquisition of any <br /> necessary land, rights-of-way, equipment and <br /> furnishings, and authorizing the levy of taxes in an <br /> amount sufficient to pay the principal of and the <br /> interest on said bonds, be approved? <br /> <br /> -4- <br /> <br /> <br />
