Town of Landis <br /> <br /> The Town will assist in the' transportation planning process by providing <br />assistance, data, and inventories in accordance with the Prospectus. Addio <br />tionally, the Town shall coordinate zoning and subdivision approval in accord- <br />ance with the adopted Transportation Plan. <br /> <br />Cabarrus County <br /> The Cabarrus CountY Planning Department will serve as the Lead Planning <br />Agency for transportation planning for the planning area. Additionally, <br />Cabarrus County will assist in the transportation planning process by providing <br />planning assistance, data, and inventories in accordance with the Prospectus. <br />Additionally, Cabarrus County shallcoordinate zoning and subdivision approval <br />in accordance with the adopted Transportation Plan. <br /> <br />Rowan County . <br /> <br /> Rowan County will assist in the transportation planning process by pro- <br />viding assistance, data, and inventories in accordance with the Prospectus. <br />Additionally, Rowan County shall coordinate zoning and subdivision approval in <br />accordance with the adopted Transportation Plan. <br /> <br />North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> <br /> The Department will assist in the transportation planning process by <br />providing planning assistance, data, and inventories in accordance with the <br />Prospectus. The Department to the fullest extent possible and as permitted by <br />existing State and Federal regulations, will provide assistance in the pro- <br />tectiun of necessary rights-of-way for those thoroughfares designated in the <br />transportation plan. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Parties to this Hemorandum of Understanding ~ay terminate <br />their~ation in the continuing transportation planning process by giving <br />30 days written notice to the other parties prior to the date of termination. <br /> <br /> Section 4. In witness whereof, the parties of this Memorandum of Under- <br />standing have been authorized by appropriate and proper resolutions to sign the <br />same, the City of Concord by its Hayor, the City of Kannapolis by its Mayor, <br />the Town of China Grove by its Mayor, the Town of Landis by its Mayor, Cabarrus <br />County by its Chairman, Rowan County bY its Chairman, and the Board of Trans- <br />portation by the State Highway Administrator, This day of <br /> <br /> <br />
