Treatment: Recommendations relative to the method of treatment, if required, outlining the basis of design and the development of a preliminary schematic for treatment units. The type of wastes are anticipated to be residential, conmercial and domestic industrial. Special industrial type wastes will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis under the Miscellaneous Engineering Services section of this 'contract. 1. Cost Estimates: Prepare construction cost estimates for projects identified. Recommend phasing of identified projects for implementation. 8. Draft Report: Submit ten (10) copies of a draft report and review at a meeting with County Staff and Comissioner's Con~nittee. 9. Final Report: After incorporation of Staff and Committee comments, present the final report to the Board of Commissioners. After the final report is accepted, twenty (20) copies of the final report will be submitted to the County. Compensation For services rendered under PART I - REPORT, we are to be paid a fee based on our payroll costs times a factor of 2.5 plus actual expenses incurred during performance of the work. Automobile travel will be paid at $.20 per mile and other expenses will be at actual cost. Total estimated payment for services shall not exceed $83,50D unless authorized in writing by the County. Invoicing Invoicing for the work in PART I - REPORT will be submitted every ¢ weeks as the work progresses and shall be due within thirty {30) days after the invoice is received, except no payments will be due prior to July 1, 1986. The County shall pay interest at a rate of one and one-half (1½) percent per month on any amount not paid in full within thirty (30) days commencing after July 1, 1986. Credit for Payments In the event the County authorizes HDR by January 1, 1987 to proceed with the design of all projects recommended in the report, full credit for the amounts paid will be issued on the subsequent design contract invoices. If part of the projects are authorized ~or design, credit will be issued on a pro-rata basis, considering the estimated construction cost(s) of the project(s) designed versus the total estimated construction costs contain~ in the report for all projects.
