CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> Post Office Box '707 <br /> CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA 280211 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ~X) APPLY FOR ALI~ATION OF FUNDING <br /> <br /> STATE BILL NO. 2 <br /> <br />The Board Of Co~issioners Of Cabarrus County requests and allocation <br />of $159,681 for Fiscal Years 1985-1986 and 1986-1987 from the State <br />Budget and Management. Funds shall k~ used to offset the Local Share of <br />a Water Distribution Project by the Water & Sewer District Of Cabarrus <br />County to began in Septem~r of 1986. <br /> <br />The project consists of approximately 110 mile of water distribution <br />main ranging in size from 2" to 12" designed to furnish fire protection <br />as well as potable water for domestic use. The project is anticipated <br />to serve ~tween 2800 and 3000 customers by July 1,1986 with an ultimate <br />use of 5600 customers at a total cost of $11,200,000. <br /> <br />FUNDING FOR ~E PROJECT IS AS FOL~WS: <br /> <br /> $7.3 million Fm~A Loan <br /> 1.4 million ~nHA Grant <br /> .9 million State Clean Water Bonds <br /> 1.6 million Local Funds <br /> <br />~ne Commissioners also request that the 1985/1986 allocation for waste- <br />water projects in the amount of $296,544.00 ~ converted to funding for <br />water projects and applied to this same project. <br /> <br />The resolution is adopted by the Board this the 21 day of April, 1986 . <br /> <br /> JI~qES w.
