NORTH CAROLINA 28025 <br /> <br /> April 30, 1986 <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br /> Cabarrus County Courthouse <br /> Post Office Box 707 <br /> Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br /> Dear Comissioners: <br /> <br /> I made a request to the Cabarrus County Health Department to <br /> do a unit cost analysis per vehicle of garbage that is taken into <br /> the Cabarrus County Landfill, based upon the expectation of a <br /> six-year life at the present site and the cost of acquirin§ new <br /> property for a landfill. The enclosed report shows a projected <br /> cost of the landfill per vehicle of $46.46 for every truckload of <br /> garbage based upon present usage. The present tipping fee is <br /> $10.00 per vehicle, and I would recommend that this be doubled to <br /> $20.00 per vehicle.
