Met <br />with Concord telephone on installation of new telephone system. <br /> <br />Piedmont Mental Health: <br />Discussed options for the professional liability insurance coverage with the Board of <br />Direotors. <br /> <br />Mt. Pl~.~nt: <br />Reviewed League information notices and assisted with the Public Officials liability <br />application. <br /> <br /> SBA Activities <br /> <br />The Centralina Certified Development Corporation approved a fixed asset loan for a <br />dentist in Cabarrus County. The total project cost will be $520,000. <br /> <br /> Emergency Services Activities <br /> <br />Planned disaster drill for Cabarrus EMS, Cabarrus Rescue Squad, Harrisburg Rescue <br />Squad, and Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Work included developing the scenario, <br />volunteer "victims", out-of-county responders, and evaluators, and providing supplies. <br />The drill was held June 14th. <br /> <br />Provided information on jail overcrowding and teleeommunieator training to the <br />Sheriff's Department. <br /> <br />Met with Concord fire chief and Cabarrus County fire personnel to discuss joint Tlaz <br />Mat training and response, and joint purchasing. <br /> <br /> <br />
