CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> Post Office Box "/07 <br /> CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA 2802/i <br /> <br />MF~IORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: Mr. Charles McGinnis/ County Manager <br /> <br />FROM: Walter Odell/ Utilities Director~13 <br /> <br />DATE: July 16,1986 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION BID <br /> <br />The District received bids at 11:00 July 16,1986 for the extension <br />of a 12" water main along Weddington Road per agreement approved <br />by the Board and Niblock Development Corp. on July 7,1986. <br /> <br />RDR,Inc. of Stanfield, N.C. was low bidder at $19,151.00, as shown <br />on the attached tabulation, per the agreement the District would <br />furnish $6,407.40. <br /> <br />The agreement requires the developer to deposit the remainder of <br />the funds prior to award of the contract. Therefore I would re- <br />commend that the project be awarded to RDR, INC.'at. $19,151.00 <br />subject to receipt of the developers portion of the funds. <br /> <br /> <br />
