It is most <br />encouraging to receive such support and assistance from our <br />county government. <br /> <br /> Statistics prove there is a very real need for a battered <br />women's program such as ours in this area. In 1986 alone we <br />have sheltered about 120 women and their children. We have an- <br />swered over 600 crisis calls this year on our 24-hour line. <br /> <br /> If any of you would like to visit our shelter sometime, <br />please give us a call.
