Box 1149 <br />Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Ann: <br /> <br />On behalf of the Greater Piedmont Chapter March of Dimes, it <br />is my pleasure to inform you that at a recent meeting of our <br />Board of Directors, monies in the amount of $2300 were awarded <br />to the Cabarrus County Health Department. We hope that these <br />funds will be helpful enabling the department to purchase the <br />equipment and s~pplies outlined in your request. <br /> <br />Although we are enclosing the grant payment with this letter, <br />Ann Houston from our agency will be contacting you soon to <br />arrange a presentation for publicity purposes. At this tima <br />she would also appreciate the opportunity to meet you to out- <br />line several March of Dimes programs that are available at no <br />cost to the department. <br /> <br />We appreciate your devotion in helping us in the fight against <br />birth defects. If it were not for people like you, the March <br />of Dimes would not be able to continue its valuable work. <br /> <br />Again, please accept osr congratulations.
