Robinson/Planning Director ~T~__~ <br />DATE: August 14, 1986 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Reso]ution from the Board of Co,,.~nissioners requesting State Environmental <br /> ~.lanagement Conmission assistance in the Development of Watershed <br /> Protection Plan <br /> <br />On August 13, 1986, the Planning Board voted to request that the Board of County <br />Conmissioners pass a resolution requesting the above referenced technical assistance. <br />This technical assistance will hopely lead to a Watershed Protection Plan that will <br />limit both point and non-point pollution in the Coddle Creek and possibly Dutch <br />Buffalo Creek Watersheds. This action will also facilitate reclassification of <br />the watersheds from WS III to WS II. <br /> <br />I am enclosing a draft resolution requesting state technical assistance and back- <br />ground material on the new state water supply classifications (WS I, ~S II and US III). <br /> <br />Enclosures <br /> <br /> ITEM NUXBER 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
