area whose owners have listed these properties as being available for indus-
trial development. This property identification precess is currently under-
way.

Tasks 5, 6, and 7

These remaining tasks will be completed according to the schedule shown
in Figure 1. All sites will be coded in a dbase III data base program on a
minicomputer. The catalog will represent individual pages for individual
pieces of real estate (potential sites) that satisfy the area exclusionary
criteria and to which the site evaluation criteria have been applied.
Results of the site evaluation criteria for that site will be displayed.

Land ownership except for 5tare-owned properties will not be displayed in the
catalog.

The loose leaf catalog, a copy of the data base, and final report are to
be delivered to the Ce~nission by the contractor on September 17, ]986. This
will represent the completion of this first s:ep in the Commission's process
for selecting an individual site(s) for the integrated hazardous waste treat-
ment facility. The remaining steps will further reduce the number of
candidate sites through detailed verification of site-specific data and
onsite field investigations of final candidate sites. These remaining steps
will be completed in contract efforts to follow the current study.

8
