CABARROS COUNTY - OCTOBER <br /> <br /> Planning Activities <br /> <br />- Mt. Pleasant - Performed additional research regarding completion of Zoning <br /> Ordinance revision. <br /> <br /> Manaj{ement Activities <br /> <br />- Completed Handicapped studies required by the Office of Revenue Sharing for <br /> Concord, and Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />- Provided Mt. Pleasant Computer Assistance as related to water billing. <br /> <br />- Continued work on Cabarras County Personnel Ordinance Revision, including <br /> meeting with Ad Hoe Committee. <br /> <br />- Developed system for allocating insurance premiums by cost center for the <br /> Piedmont Area Mental Health Program. <br /> <br />- Discussed with the Union County insurance agent the mechanics of paying a claim <br /> on damage to contents of the Union Center since Piedmont Area owns the <br /> contents and Union County insures the contents. Discussed with Piedmont Area's <br /> insurance agent the exclusion of independent contractor operations on the general <br /> liability policy. <br /> <br /> Aging Activities <br /> <br />- Title IU-C Nutrition Program assessment and on-site visit with visit to the Forest - <br /> HiLls nutrition site. <br /> <br />- Staff support to Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee at their quarterly <br /> meeting, October 17th. Toured Concord Nursing Center, reviewed pertinent long <br /> term care issues and detailed results of Issues Conference. <br /> <br />- Toured First Assembly Living Center, a new domiciliary facility, and met with <br /> administrator to discuss eoneeras about committee appointments. <br /> <br />- Technical Assistance to YMCA Service Center in Kannapolis on their application <br /> for State funding for equipment for their center. <br /> <br />- Coordinated press conference to announce the allocation awarded to the YMCA <br /> Senior Center in Kannapolis. Wrote press release and phoned media about the <br /> conference. <br /> <br /> Reconciled bank statements for July, August, and September. <br /> <br />- Reeeived information on new]terminated enrollees from lead agencies for <br /> September. Input appropriate data to generate computerized monthly report and <br /> quarterly report for each lead agency and regional reports for DOA. <br /> <br /> Prepared Quarterly Narrative report for DOA on Title V activity during first <br /> quarter. <br /> <br /> <br />
