PROCLAHAT ION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, trees provide a renewable natural resource <br />vital to the well-being of man. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the many products produced from wood a~d wood <br />fibers cause us to depend on them. <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, trees are a vital link in the erosion control <br />of our limited topsoil. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, trees are a large part of the plant community <br />that produce the oxygen we breath. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, I, in full appreciation of trees to the <br />public welfare, and desiring to have those who protect it, <br />do hereby proclaim April 19, 1985 <br /> <br /> ARBOR DAY <br /> <br /> in the schools of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> James W.
