HcGinnis: <br /> <br /> On April 4, bids £or food service for the k~trition Program for <br /> the Elderly were received by the Centra]ina Counci] of Governments. <br /> Attached is the memo summarizing these bids. <br /> <br /> Servomation Corporation has been providing our meals since 1980; <br /> however, First Assembly Living Center provided a 2ower bid for <br /> next year. <br /> <br /> Sue Archer, Aging Specialist with Centralina and ! visited First <br /> Assembly Living Center on April 19. From our assessment, we <br /> felt that First Assembly could provide meals for our program <br /> according to thc required specifications. <br /> <br /> Therefore, I am recommending that the Cabarrus County Board of <br /> Commissioners award the food service contract to First Assembly <br /> Living Center. <br /> <br /> I am requesting that this item be considered at the board meeting <br /> on ~ay 6. <br /> <br /> Please let me know whether you want me to be present at that <br /> meeting. <br /> <br /> Sincerely, <br /> <br /> Kathy..
